Wondering if a GT Guru would no the thread/bolt size of the battery post clamps on the battery. I am wiring in a battery tender and want to buy a couple nuts to piggy back the stock locknuts on the bolts. Thanks

I think it's 10mm, but do a search. It's here.

I know the hold down is a 8mm, the post would be an 8 or a 10mm.

Post clamps are 8MM. Don't try to take the nuts off completely or you will risk breaking the bolt off. Ford intentionally messes up the end of the threads to insure the nut never comes off. On our charger kits we clip the eye-holes so that they will slip over the bolt without having to remove the nut.

The one question I actually knew the answer to. This board is a wealth of information.

Yep, they are all 8mm (post clamps and tie down bolt wedge). Removed OEM Optima and replaced my battery tonight with a Platinum P-3.

It's heavy when it's located in the middle and the trunk lid and wide fenders are surrounding the location.

Plus I was extra careful not to put any weight on the fenders.
