Yes, the car will not pull 200 MPH in 6th gear. Top speed is acheived in 5th gear unless you are going down a steep hill. :biggrin

I think that was Kenny Brack. He has raced and won in both the IRL & Champ Car. Few years back he won Indy. He is a Swede. Many thought he would go F-1, had some tests, but has not. A wonderfull driver.

I was born there, Upsala .... So Chris, take our little recent testdrive into perspectve, Swedes are all crazy ! Next time we do such a 360 recovery together, impoertant to work the clutch, otherwise the car stalls... and important, to go to Homestead, not just FtLaud streetnet for that ! (We did this with M3's in Monza... big fun .. :wink )

Actually the GT will do 210 MPH in 6th gear, it would just take a long time to get there!

I knew they did some film work for Kennys home land. But had not seen it.

All the driving shots were done at Ford's proving ground in Romeo Mi.

I hear this was the fastset lap ever on the Romeo 5 mile oval. As the Ford test drivers feel the surface is too bumpy to go that fast.
