In keeping with my last post, I have one more question and will then return to my previous lurking.
I've seen a number of people's various guages go out, and I now realize how expensive these things are to replace.
Anyone out there with skill trying to repair them? Anyone wanna take a shot at the temperature gauge I just removed? Worst case is that it ends up as junk (what it is now)...the best case is that I have a fixed guage and can save it or pass it along to one of the other people who have malfunctioning gauges.
As I said, I'm clueless about most things automotive, so I'm not sure if it's possible to repair something like this, but if anyone is interested in trying, I've got a gauge to send ya. I'll even pay for the shipping, etc.
