I bought this from Engine builder Keith Craft. I am working to make a Gold Concours car at SAAC 35 at Willow Springs next May:

Nice Car. How much restoration has been done? Looks like mostly unrestored.

that car has been uber restored.

In a big way...even the overspray, paint dots and numbers are in the right places.

The car sat from 1972 until about a year ago when Keith began pulling it apart and restoring it. It's the original 428 Cobra jet, Trans, other under the engine parts. There is very finite detail the SAAC (www.saac.com) judges look for when judging these cars. Kind of a project/hobby etc..

My Ford GT Heritage follows this Shelby racing history, so stoked to get it in a week or two.

Here's my other two Shelby's, I drove the green one from San Diego to Birmingham, AL in April with Mustangs Across America:

I have a 68.5 428 Cobrajet Mustang that is getting to that point. We just finished doing from the firewall forward recently including a complete date code correct engine. I drive mine and will be during the restoration process.

did you put Scott Fuller's repro exhaust systems on the cars? He is a buddy of mine and of course I have all the parts he has made on my car (I have the prototype h pipe and resonators on mine)?
