A while ago, I invited Mike Karwowski to be my guest at MartynL's "Car Guys Who Lunch" lunch. Mike was President of Milford Fabricating during GT frame production and, at the same time, CFO of Milford's parent ThyssenKrupp Budd.
This was in my mailbox today from Mike.
I've seen discussion of these models in some old threads. Mike adds a few details I didn't know. He says the extrusions were done by Hydro (Norsk Hydro), which was a GT frame component supplier. Milford then sent some of them out for anodizing. "They were given to select visitors at the Milford plant, including Carroll Shelby among others."
