SWEET!!!!!!!! :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Thanks, Guys! The rams horn exhaust manifolds came from Speedway. I think they manufacture them. We ground them smooth and had them ceramic coated in "cast iron" color.

I've never understood why a 351 couldnt be put in place instead of a 350 in a Ford body/chassis.

It can (and some do), but it's a "Hot Rod" thing! Part of the history of the sport.

Exceptional looking car. I am jealous. My grandfather got me into cars years ago; I have a picture of him with his leg cocked up on an old Ford like that.

2750lbs? Did you fill it with helium?

Mark, I think the weight was kept down, so she can carry the “White Lighting”.

With those specs, what a ridge “Ridge Runner” that thing would make.

Do you offer a “Get Out Of Jail Free” card for "Okies" too?

Dave may need a little help from his friends once she gets her legs.

:cheers

Traditionally, the answer to that question has been that the SBC is: 1: smaller in external dimensions (easier to squeeze into this or that), 2: 'cheaper to buy/build, and 3: EVERYBODY has always made EVERY KIND of aftermarket equipment for it.

So, for those reasons it's been the "rodder's choice" since the OHV's came into being.

All true, Pockets, and in the 50's, the Chevy V8 was the upgrade of choice vs. the Flatties. However, these days, a 351 stroker is awesome as well (I actually have two that make more HP but at significantly more $$. Many subscribe to the "Ford in a Ford" philosophy.

Actually, a '33 Tudor Doesn't weigh all that much. Makes for excellent Hot Rodding! (and as Spirit points out, need extra capacity for "cargo"!)
