Advice on fun roads from Belluevue, WA to Salem OR to SF, CA

Hi, I'll be driving in a couple of weeks from the cities back to SF. I'm looking for some recommendations on some fun roads along the way, so I won't be simply putting on mileage on Hwy 5.

Cutting over to the coast at Olympia then down 101 would be my first thought. Going down the eastern slope of the Oregon Cascades on 97, at least until you get to Weed would be another nice route. IMHO of course. :thumbsup
