The development of the 1967 Lotus 49 by Ford and Lotus.

For those of you that never saw it in its heyday - play close attention to what the Nürburgring used to look like, and how it got its name "The Green Hell"

Now I'm feeling old - I remember seeing that as a teenager!

No computers or CFD modeling to design what is arguably the most successful racing engine ever, just a drafting table, pencil, and slide rule!

Incredible times. No aero, open helmets, no seat belts, "skinny" tires with tread, and few barriers/fences on corners. The scenes from Nurburgring were indeed "interesting" with cars catching air and seeing how well they were balanced, or not. In one scene, towards the end, I wondered if Jim Clark was going to take the Ford Galaxie onto the track at Watkins Glen in the rain, but alas he just crossed the track. Brings back memories.
