Sorry, no real chance for anyone but Aston Martin (unless the reference atmospheric pressure comes out favorable). They screwed the BoP up on this one. GT got a 20kg ballast addition and lost 4% boost everywhere. Astons clobbered everyone in FP and Q. But hey, anything can happen.

Yes, it's a bummer. Dieselgate has really destroyed VW/Audi racing. A year ago Porsche and Audi were both racing 3 cars. This year 2 each. Next year only 2 Porsches. Supposedly Peugot may come back, but a two manufacturer LMP1 championship next year will be pretty boring. Should increase the GTE coverage.
Yeah, they've obviously screwed it up badly this year. Swings are way too wild. Cars go from dominant to uncompetitive. They are supposed to be working on limiting the adjustments for 2017.
The thing that really illustrates how bad the system works is the fact an Aston Martin race car based on an 11-year old front engine grand tourer has at times dominated brand new mid-engine Ferrari and Ford supercars.

I'm in for the social aspect. Hate to do anything to support IMSA though. BoP? Get the **** out of here.
IMSA did a much better job throughout the year than WEC.
I'm definitely going to go knowing they'll be racing all 4 cars at Daytona.

Wow. What swing from the last two races. Agreed, WEC needs to limit the amount of BoP adjustment. Regardless, what a first season for the CGR/Ford Performance team. They exceeded my expectations and what I expected was unrealistic. :lol Congrats to them all!!
