At the end of the day, it's a Mustang. Yes I love the car and want to buy one, called 3 So. Cal dealers, the mark up over MSRP is laughable- They can all kiss my ____ , I'm out (until the hype is over at least).
My buddy that spoke to Galpin talked to a big Roush dealer in Indiana. They want $2500 down and $7k market adjustment. What a difference state to state!
DBK has posted a pretty good video here which shows the audio difference between street mode and track mode. There is exhaust baffling to enable street noise limits to be acceptable (certifiable with the Feds and Ford internal requirements).
The marketing guys are having a field day with the car's audio signature now with this first ever large displacement FPC engine (as well they should). It is really different than ANYTHING else. And it certainly gets your attention!
Witnessed that video above, that was on stage at Carlisle. The "marketing" guy had the full green light to rev at will, as he did it MANY times over the course of the weekend.
