"Fair price" is an interesting expression that many sellers do not understand. As relates to a Ford GT, a fair price begins at some negotiable amount below msrp and clearly ends at msrp, anything beyond that is not fair to an informed purchaser.

Centerpunch, you sound like a car salesman. The price the buyer and seller agree to is the sales price. It may be a fair price, but not necessarily. An uninformed buyer will usually pay more than an informed buyer would pay. It isn't fair, it's the price for being uninformed.
