Another very sanitary GT40 recreation on ebay ... this one a MK2A. I have no financial interest in this car.

Beautiful car. But not to be a b@ll buster, no MkIIs had ZFs. All 4 speed cars.

Beautiful car, but that is a mighty big premium for pay for a rebadged Superformance.

I don't see an obvious link to Superformance mentioned. I've never heard of the "GTP" VIN prefix - who is it?

None of the GT40 replicas I am aware of use a GTP prefix. I was curious too and asked the seller about the origins of the roller. Per the seller, it is a Superformance. That is really big bucks for a replica that doesn't even have a Shelby CS vin.

Well done Sformance approaching the Hollman/Moody price range. I prefer the wagon wheels vs the cobra II's......still looks good.

If Ford never made the GT I'd have one.

If it is just a superformance it is priced about 100k over. The claims of original parts etc are on the verge of unethical unless substantiated

Haha wait…hahahahaha! That car is worth $150k on a good day. My SPF blows that car away with attention to detail and cleanliness.

It is ironic to hear FGT owners talk about overvaluation and hype lol

All SPF GT40s have a serial number that starts with GT/P mine being P2161

PS the funny thing is I don't think Gulf Oil ever sponsored a MkII anyway… There's a sucker born every minute

If that engine is making a decent amount of power (always questionable with FE's) that ZF transaxle will not last when driven hard instead of going to car shows.

Your ID plate doesn't read GT40 P2161?
