Hi all GT enthusiasts.
Ford Switzerland will invite all 28 Swiss GT customers to the stunning International Klausenrennenmemorial 2006.

At the Klausenrennen, there will be race cars from the roaring 20s to the 30s who are racing uphill 21.5 km (13.6 mls) from Linthal 715m ü.M. (2346 ft.) to the Klausenpass 1952 m ü.M. (6404 ft). The Swiss GT owners have the chance to present their cars in a corso Saturday afternoon, before the first racing starts at 15h. We keep you posted with all details and photos. Greetings Chris

First Ford Shelby GT 500 in Switzerland at the Int. Klausenrennenmemorial 2006

The Ford dealership Autozentrum West in St. Gallen will also present the first Ford Shelby GT 500 in Switzerland who will race on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in a Ford racing car corso (Fiesta ST, Fiesta Cup Car, Focus ST, Ford GT 40 1969 (Erich Rickenbacher) and the Shelby GT 500
Thanks to René Suter, owner of the Ford dealership in St. Gallen, who will drive himself the car to the peak of the Klausenpass.

I am in switzerland with a direct import Ford GT.I could not make head or tail regarding more info from the sites you have recommended.Perhaps you would be kind enough provide more details yourself.

Report from the Klausenrace

Hi

we had an outstanding day at the Klausenrennen.

Here are some fotos and we will post more.

Thanks to all the 16 Ford GT customers who made this event possible. Saturday afternoon, in front of about 50'000 car enthusiasts, the Ford GTs were presented in a corso (very fast and dramatic) between race cars from the 20s to the 30s.
