    Picture of our 2.8" pulley

Clax, There is a belt tensioner that keeps the belt tight. The difference the smaller pulley size makes from stock is not all that large anyway.

What will you gain with just a "TUNE"?

Supercharged cars do have heat problems to begin with (I have three) but I ran my GT all day yesterday in traffic and at cruise and never went above 185 even with a supercharger.

What will you gain with just a "TUNE"?

20 degrees cooler is my observed avg for all driving. Biggest impact was with City driving stop and go. I am using Bob Ida's Tube mufflers. Sound is great and not too loud.

What will you gain with just a "TUNE"?

CHAD, I am running a consistent 20 degrees cooler with the new muffler design that does not block the air. There are several of us who can attest to the poor "airblocking" design of the stock muffler. It is empirical and observed data not just our opinion. Regards

Ken, It is never past 12.5 and for most of the range (at higher rpm) it is below. I post the information for reference to other owners so they can evalute when they have work done. I promise I will let the forum know right away if I blow my engine. regards Chris

AMB, Maybe you have a different set-up than the rest of us. See this picture, the rubber tubes on each side of the hard plastic in the middle are soft and collapse.

I have had my share of "tuners" that were operating "above" their experience level, hence, I researched Ida Performance before I brought my GT there for upgrades. Bob Ida has been doing supercharged cars since the 60's, and in fact is in the hard covered book " The History Of Supercharged...
