You guys are just so greedy....I thought I was mad having 30 cars but 32 US cars!
A very rare car here in the UK...Plenty of Mustangs and Corvettes but I don't recall ever seeing another Muscle Mopar on the road unless going to a meet
My 68 440 lived with it's first owner in...
Sorry I stand corrected
This is the info I got from the fGT Registrar
Hello Lee -
Your car, 5-1985 was indeed owned by a member of the Ford family, Walter Buhl Ford III. He was a great grandson of Henry Ford (WBF III passed away in 2010). Here is the information I have on your car:
Josh.........Looks like you need a manicure.
Mal......Another mate of mine which we have to welcome to the UK FGT fold.
I know a few more who are desperate for an FGT including the guy that you pipped to the post when you bought yours
Hope all is well
I bought an SLS a few months ago....The car is a hot rod...super fast and comfortable.
Must admit the level of up to date technology is poor and the car is going back to AMG for the GT ECU upgrade to sort the horribly slow gear change.
Yeah, I must admit to mis-judging the width of the car sometimes when passing other traffic. Occasionally I'l look down the passenger side and realise I was closer than I realised.
As you know these cars are a fair bit wider up back and sitting behind the wheel looking down the narrowing bonnet...
Mal perhaps you could email me on funguschop@gmail.com
I'll mail you back with numbers etc. If you're ever bored weekdays I'm always around if you have a run out.
BelgiumGT........UK spec is just dim dip headlamps known as side lights and small turn signal lamps on the side of the front wings
Sevenoks
I know Keston, we used to own the garage there on the mini roundabout.
Sounds like a catch up when the weather gets better. We organise a meet twice a year where we have a big group of like minded car nuts with some very nice cars.
Hi Mal.........Congratulations on your fine purchase.
Lots of people are finally realising these cars are holding well here in the UK and what fantastic value they are against the usual lumps of depreciation that's available.
Not sure where you are in London but I'm in Kent, had mine over 4...
I bought and paid for my Dymags and discovered they were in administration.
Luckily They had finished the build but I had to rush to the factory and collect them
Lovely wheel but I'm so scared of damaging them
No parts causing me concerns but I had heard from an ex owner that gauges and switches are an issue????
Who knows.......There are record numbers of FGT's for sale here in the UK right now.....I never want to sell mine but I have to admit to being a bit scared to use it:facepalm:
