The FGT Forum "Search" is your friend. This issue has been discussed in detail years ago. It is a "normal characteristic" of our car's transaxle. Shift from 1st to 3rd until tranny warms up.

This is really good advice. The SCTA guys have been doing this for a long time and have built quite a learning curve. It really makes sense to do your homework over 200 mph IMHO.
