Your problem can easily be solved. There is a sensor in transmission that has to be replaced. You can buy it at the dealer for about $25.00. My tach/speed failed 3 times. Easy to replace. Sensor is loacated left side rear of transmision. It has 1 allen wrench head bolt.

I have yet to install accufab bolts I have about 1500 miles on new Ford bolts. I carry 2 additional sets as back up.
