    Is there any consensus on the value of such an application? Intuitively I can see the appeal of shielding the stripes from small dings or chips, but I have no idea how long it lasts or how it will look.

    am radio I picked up my GT 2 weeks ago and having same problem w/ the radio. I am reluctant to have someone start tinkering.
