    2009 Ariel Atom 3 247 Miles

might want to clean up your post. the US atom 3 comes with a 2.0L 4 banger Ecotec. most of the info you've posted is for the not yet available atom 500. 3 of my buddies have atom's (240HP). even at the lesser HP they are a total blast to drive. i definitely suggest driving school before...

    FORD GT or PORSCHE GT2

had a 996 GT2 for a week. didn't like it. the new ones can't change what i didn't like the most -- the heavy rear end. fantastic when you learn how to drive it correctly but even on the streets i am not a fan. if i were to get another, i'd get a cayman and build the engine. the cayman is...

    Heal-toe help

^ on a serious note, while the pedals are not adjustable, you will probably find that adjusting the seating position will help a lot. my normal cruising position is too far away from the controls to be consistent/precise.

    Heal-toe help

no, but i use the dr. scholl's pads to help with heal-toe. the pedals are not adjustable AFAIK. i do find that just driving the FGT helps with heal-toe and even heal-body. it's just so refreshing. What Jeff said. It's not something that you gauge by the numbers, you do it by visual input...

    Heal-toe help

totally impractical as a learning aid, as he has obviously had his ankle joint surgically replaced with some kind of spherical monoball! if you want to be utterly amazed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGIiarIrUCI

    high octane fuels

I reviewed [parts of] that textbook (great text, BTW) and didn't find anything linking octane rating to rate of combustion. in fact, the opposite. section 9-12 talks about a high combustion rate causing an apparent knock (and thus decrease in octane rating) using "the standard...
