    Clear film

Both Xpel and Suntek are great! Used both many times. If it's primarily a street car and won't rack up miles, I prefer Suntek. It's thinner and more clear. If your car will be on the track and environments prone to debris, I prefer Xpel. It's thicker and can take more abuse but isn't as clear...

When to replace mounts and bushings?

At what 'age' is it recommended to replace mounts (engine, trans) and suspension bushings. Like any other car, I would imagine they crack, sag and need to be replaced. Our cars are now 12+ years old. Is it time (regardless of mileage)?

    Anyone know this car?

Thinking about pulling the trigger. Wanted to check if anyone has familiarity with this car or previous owners. Looks like it has had a couple owners in FL. Also, interested to hear opinions about a fair price for this car given the current market. Send a PM if you feel more comfortable...

Maintenance 'musts' for a garage queen?

My plan is to drive it regularly. However the last 12 years it has been driven very sparingly. Don't want to go crazy and change everything, just looking to take care of potential problem areas and the essentials.

Maintenance 'musts' for a garage queen?

Getting close to pulling the trigger on a low mile 2005. Thinking about an 11 year old car with low miles, I am looking for some advice on what must be done to ensure high levels of reliability and drivability. The car is flawless and was part of a collection. However, I recognize that things...

Can we have a poll made, to register the easy way who got one and who didn't??

Well, the best I could do was 8k over MSRP, but at least I can order it to my spec! FGT899...I will keep you posted if I change my mind.

Can we have a poll made, to register the easy way who got one and who didn't??

Was not chosen....not deferred either. Was hoping for a better outcome, but I have to believe those chosen must be very deserving. Rather than call the suicide hotline posted below which was very tempting, I took a deep breath and let out steam another way.... Found a 2015 McLaren 650s, an 2016...

    Congrats FORD

Watch the race regularly and this year was the most exciting yet! Was glued to the TV for most of the race. Outstanding finish and team effort! All of the Ford GT teams should be proud. This was the one to attend, in person. I may regret that for many years.

Contemplating purchase of another GT...Prior damage impact on resale?

Thanks for the feedback. For reference, when I mentioned 'impact on resale', I was referring to my purchase price, not the potential price if I were to sell it at a later date. Obviously, I would expect any prior damaged FORD GT will take a hit, just not certain how big of a hit.

Contemplating purchase of another GT...Prior damage impact on resale?

Potentially pulling the trigger on another GT. The car has has prior damage requiring replacement of 1 body panel. However, no supporting docs/receipts/photos come with the car. Thought I could engage the GT Guys to do a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Given the high demand and desirability of...

Has anyone received or seen a GT350 on a dealers lot?

Is it even possible to order a 350R to be built or, at this point, is our only option to sift through dealers and hope to find one willing to negotiate?

Cool event happening in Central Coast, CA...

GT Forum: One of my buddies has spent a bunch of time putting together a cool event for a youth wrestling program this Wed @ 5:30pm at Smith Volvo in San Luis Obispo. Here are the details he sent me...the highlights are exotic cars (great opportunity to bring your GT), wrestling matches between...

Shadowman, no volunteers yet... Howard, I definitely don't want to inconvenience you, but I will keep you posted if someone else volunteers.

So who's up for a cold Air Kit????

Sounds like you may need some custom, reinforced, multi-layer silicone hoses to mate the pipes and deal with the vibration and movement. I would call Hoover and Turbohoses (925.455.1066) right away. He could probably get you custom hoses in about 48 hours, maybe sooner. Tell him Wayne sent...
