That was my point, over the long term, dealers in all industries are fortunate to get and strive for msrp sales.

I take it you are a dealer? It's really not reasonable for a dealer to charge more than the manufacturer intends. That's the reason for MSRP, so dealers don't take advantage of their markets and/or situations. It's also the reason all premium brands sell for MSRP, from Lafite to LaFerrari...

Ferrari guys do buy at msrp. Almost every premium car dealer sells at msrp regardless of how hot the car is to their best clients. It's only the US brands that I have experienced gouging.

It's amazing how hot these cars are right now and how much people think they know about them. Barrett Jackson just sold a silver 2005 for 320k and the announcer claimed they made 2027 cars. Very specific number to be so wrong. I hope they build a couple years worth so those of us dying for one...

IMO, Ford will deliver a car that weighs 2xxx wet to counter the V6, both in performance and marketing. I believe that would be the lightest of the current crop and very exciting.
