Must be FGT friendly. Needs roadside escape door so getting in and out is easy.

I just spected out and bought a new trailer from Royal Cargo. It is a 27' with "V" nose (I haul HD in front).
The factory engineer worked with me sending drawings back and forth until it was what I wanted.
I worked with them to get the ramp overs to the perfect height and the tied owns in the best location.
Added 36" fold down ramp with tall bumpers for loading ease but still use PVC/Foam ramps.
Just pulled it 2,000 miles to SLC and love it. Should have had one with escape door years ago.
I have a 2006 Royal Cargo and had 25,000 miles on it with the original tires so I knew they are well constructed.
I ended up with a trailer that looks great, pulls great and is very functional for a little under $11,000.
If you are coming to the rally in SLC look me up. If not I can send photos if interested.

I cannot make the rally. Have a son playing college football. Season is starting up. If you don't mind I would like to see some pictures.

Thanks in advance
Mike

Wow, I really like the inside ramping and the floor material.

With the tool box, posters and flooring, it is just one step away from being a man cave.

Is it steel or aluminum? What is the weight capacity?

Ha, Blake hid all the beer bottles and pin-ups. He has a drop down screen for porno movies as well. Really a trick trailer. It has a hidden compartment to hide from the better half as well.

It has a gross capasity of 10,000 - weight of trailer. And the items fjpikul talked about are easlie reinstalled. I have 3,300 miles on from the trip to SLC and am very happy. The frame is steel and all other is treated plywood of aluminum.

That is very nice looking. Does the Harley sit strait in the nose with the GT in there?

What's the outside look?

What's that ford logo box thing?

Sorry it took so long to get back with you but was away from computer.
Send me an email to blake@biginch.net and I will send contacts, design drawings, more photos and information on the trailer. The HD sets in the “V” straight back with 1’-6” clearance from the GT front. Just got home and added up 4,500 miles on the new trailer with no problems. They will not sell direct but will hook you up with a local dealer to buy from. Do not work with the dealer to get the trailer made, you will need to go to the factory. The FORD box is what I keep cleaning supplies in.

It is easier for me to attach photos and drawings to an email then to the Forum.

Thanks for the E-mail Blake!

Forgot to ask, did they powder coat or galvanize your frame?

Awesome trailer Blake. I am looking for a trailer to replace my 20' haulmark & this looks like a great set-up. I don't have a Harley to ride up front but love the idea of a V nose for aerodynamics.

Don't forget to shoot me a pm so I can send the decals your way.

:cheers

What does the door look like in the front of the right side? Is it just an access door?

The door on the right side is a 36” walk in door for access to the trailer. The door on the left in the “V” is a ramp door so I don’t need to unload the car to get the bike out. It folds down and I can take the bike out, go riding and load it up while the car remains in the trailer. Make for nice second transportation. If you don’t have a bike I would not get the front ramp to save on weight but the “V” is good space to have that covers the tongue that is usually wasted space plus is aerodynamic.

Great looking trailer! Noticed the tie down locations, doesn't look like you can do over the tire tie downs though. Where do you anchor on the car?

I have always use MAC through the wheel tie downs on both the GTs and the Mustangs. I also haul ATVs and 3 to 4 bikes at a time and added all the extra tie downs. The race tire rack is my one design. Send me an email if you need more info.
