Just took delivery of 06 - 4 option, 5K mile GT. Did a search and found some older threads about the OEM covers. Looking to see if anyone has an OEM cover for sale or a source for them. Alternatively if anyone is running a cover from an aftermarket company they like? Thanks for any direction here.

Might even check with a Ford dealer. Someone might have it sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Covercraft makes a form fit cover that is super soft on the inside. It fits like yoga pants on a nice....well, you know.

California Car Cover. Plushweave. Made specific to a car. I’ve used them for 20 years. One of the best out there.

The indoor covers referenced above are much nicer than the OEM 05-06 covers.

Here is an original car cover with bag for $659. The only useful piece is the bag, which fits nicely in the trunk. If it didn't say "Ford GT" it would be a $5 bag. The cover is good for trapping moisture and dragging grit across the paint.

I have one used by the previous owner of my car (2006-2012) if you want it, but I'm keeping the bag.

I agree with Xcentric on covering your car. Unless used for long term storage why not enjoy looking at the car not a cover. You may have to rinse it a little more often but the view is much better!

I use to have them covered. Not so much any more. I love just walking out into the garage and look at them.

That’s why I got a cover that looks like my car.

I like the sheer see-through type like this one by California Car Cover
Been looking for a drape cover like the reveal type in see-through material but have not been able to find it in the market, so I may end up making it myself. Saw once a Porsche 550 Spyder under one and those curves looked very sexy under the draped sheer cover.

Hard to beat this upgrade cover from California Car Cover! The two king size sheets worked very well keeping dust off my Girl! I was the first new owner who refused to pay $900.00 for a car cover but probably not the last!
