Which data logger to buy?

I would like to get a basic data logger that doesn't cost a fortune and is simple enough that even I can use it. The VBox mini looks simple to use but I have not priced one yet. Any suggestions/recommendations?

I uses a Driftbox which is a downgrade from the Vbox mini, and my SCT Xcal2 tied to the OBDII port.

Personally, I prefer a nice looking woman with a stopwatch.

Frank, you didn't read the question. He does not want it to cost a fortune.

One thing to try is to get your hands on a couple of different models and see how the look and operate. Perhaps at the rally there will be a few there. Otherwise swing by any track event and look around. Most guys there are pretty cool and wouldn't mind showing you how their "boxes" work. The neatest, I think are the ones with integrated video.

NASA in our area uses -- a hot lap timer which is a breeze. Basically just times/stores the laps. I think AMB also which has more features too.

The driftbox is more than enough for what I use it for. Works well and isn't ridiculously expensive.

vbox FTW

Thanks all.
