I did a search and found nothing...though I am pretty sure there was a post about wheel dollies.

Looking for the type that you can individually jack each wheel and roll the vehicle around.

What say the Forum? Any particular manufacturer you prefer over another? Feature/benefits one should look for?

I use go-jacks, Griots and others sell them, expensive but do the job, make sure you get the extra wide set for the FGT.

I second Daniel's recommendation. :thumbsup

I have the go-jacks and they work great.

Mine are from OTC, just to give you a second option.

Who is OTC, where do you buy them, how much?
I need another set for a different location.
The downside of the Go Jacks is they are heavy and not practical to move outside of their base local.

I have Go-Jak's but don't care for them. Paid $940 for the set by the time I got them here. I have bought a set from Schuck's that are a lot less $ and are hyd. Can't think of the name right now. They are far better then jumping up and down on a Go-Jak.

I will look at the Go-Jacks - Thanks for the comments regarding weight and transportability.

I came across these from Northern Tool & Equipement - http://www2.northerntool.com/auto-repair/wheel-dollies-1.htm

Comments?

I found these from OTC at Sears - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00990099000P

Yes those are the OTC units that I have. Had them now for probably 2 years+ work well and will fit the rear tire. OTC tool company that makes a lot of car specific tools, for instance our radio removal tools are made by OTC.....

OTC looks very simlar to GoJacks

That's my impression after looking at each website.

Flatrod, what are the shortcomings of the Go-Jaks? Have you come across the manufacturer's name of the set from Shucks?

You sure he is not refering to the manual versions vs the hydraulic:

GoJak is a brand name that is often used generically (like kleenex, and TIVO...) Here is the manual version

Go jacks are mechanical....

Kingman, I didn't get the wide Go-Jaks, didn't know they had them when I bought them. When they are not wide enough they can get hard to push down. Almost have to jump up and down on them. My jacks are about 3 years old and one of them almost always pops loose when jacking down, causing the car to fall. Not good in front of a customer!
I will have to look later to see if there is a brand name on the Shucks ones. They have them in their industrial catalog. My friend bought a set last year paid $340 for the set of 4. They are hydraulic.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I will look for your post.

They are made by Champion Power Equipment.

Well I tried to attach a picture but it didn't work. Talk to Shucks about them in there industrial catalog.

Sorry to bother you further Flatrod....
Champion Power Equipment came up as generators

I tried Googling - 'Champion Power Equipment Wheel Dolly' unsuccessfully.

I also tried a search for Shucks industrial catalog and found nothing. I tried Kragen ( CSK Auto Corporation / Checker Shucks Kragen) in my neck 'o' the woods. The didn't carry anything close.

Would it be possible to post a link for the Champion you are referring to, or to the Shucks catalog? ...or a way to reach the Shucks Industrial Catalog folks?

Thank you in advance.

I will see if I can get you a part number for them later today. When I got mine, they were at a new store, when my friend got them they had to order them in. They are yellow and have that Champiopn Power Equipment sticker on it.

Best Wheel Dolly
