What if there was a 2013 GT?

A 160 thermostat? Was that what you did? What else?

in addition to the 160* t-stat, program your computer to have the 2 cooling fans come on at the coldest settings possible. i run a 50% distilled water mix with a 50% mix of dex-cool and 2 bottles of redlines water wetter. it very rarely freezes down here. since it get to zero degrees or colder where you live i would just run straight dex-cool with 2 bottles of water wetter. this should get your max temps down to less than 200 degrees. make sure your tune is right and your spark plugs are in good condition as a lean a/f ratio will make your motor run hot too :thumbsup

ChipBeck I agree with you on that one. Well said.
I had a C6 Z06 once and a music company used it for a music video recording down town, and the Vette got pretty damn hot to, 220F. But never when driving fast.
Anyway, I love my GT and the best part is when people ask me ( on almost every car meeting ) ; Did you build it your self??? haha. That is how unique they are around here
that people don't really know what the GT is.

Now it is winter time here so I have planned some things to do the upcoming six months like for ex. Fast Freddys water mix, Cooltech´s transaxle cooler and other stuff,
maybe the 06 grille and so... The list is very very long.

Cheers

You can always install the GT guy's upgrade racing radiator and then do a "how to" thread and give us your results. :wink
