Well...I drank the koolaid

Congrats. :thumbsup I love Quicksilver. Which one are you bringing to The Rally?

Gonna drive my white/blue car. Will probably put 2500+ miles on the round trip from DFW. Starting to get amp'd up for Scottsdale and then LV!

These cars are an addiction for sure !!........:thumbsup

Much better than a subtraction :biggrin. Sorry....know you meant addiction but I couldn't resist. :cheers

Congratulations, and welcome to the INSANE ASYLUM!

AC,

Glad to hear you got your 2nd GT - I like the Silver almost as much as the Gulf.

Congrats.

Here's a few photos

Thanks Fred. Hope to see you in LV. Are you driving out there? I'm planning on a 2 day run to Scottsdale.

Gorgeous garage!

Just curious, why are your hoods both unlatched, but down? And is it "legal" to have your tailpipes sticking out so far past the back of your car? Any troubles with the LEO over that?

+1 Great garage. I aspire to drink the koolaid also some day. :lol

Good to see that I am not the only one who sprays their license plates with photo blocker. :thumbsup

Looks like a pretty sweet mid 60's vette you have lurking next to the GT's. Neat color, any details? I had a 65 roadster which was a great looking car.

I usually pop the hatch release when I park the car to vent heat from the engine bay. Most times I have them all the way up, actually. I did the Classic Concepts bumper delete and kept my pipes long on the white car. Looks more like the orig. GT-40's. Never have had a problem with the police over this.

It's a 67 Marina Blue Coupe. 427/435 Hp with tripower. That car is a keeper for sure (like the Ford GT's). In the next year or so I will be looking for a 69 to 71 convertible Vette.

Actually, my flash caused the reflection. I have vanity plates on the white car...NZO BTR. We only get 6 characters on plates in TX.

Road Trip Info

Thanks Fred. Hope to see you in LV. Are you driving out there? I'm planning on a 2 day run to Scottsdale.

Yep, sure am. :thumbsup We will head out the morning of Sunday Sept 7. Meeting Prowler in Junction, TX around 11:00AM to 11:30AM and then others along the way.

Prowler is the "Road Captain" :eek for this Texas to Scottsdale leg of the run [as always, I just go with the flow and enjoy the ride].

See if you can get your schedule to mesh up. As you know, our road trips are always an adventure in themselves. :biggrin

Congrats!

Great choice, Ajai! Enjoy that beast.....looking forward to meeting you in LV...
