I bet EP never captained a boat either, but rather just trailed it around! :lol
That's only because it wouldn't fit in a garage or trailer.Wrong-o, 'Frisco boy. I was the 'OOD' of one of Uncle Sam's 1040 class DEs more times than I'd care to count... :tongue
I wasn't aware that the boats were that popular here. In the Detroit area we have craftsman who have been restoring/rebuilding these boats non-stop since their first arrival. It is a real specialty and the skills are often passed down to successive generations.
Ok, it just rained on us in Sacramento coming back from Sonoma! It never rains in NorCal in September! It must be because of Dr Frank! Plus it's humid! Time to clean the GT again!
Ed
No rain where I am, but overcast and a little higher humidity than normal. Sat was the better day for the FGT gathering. The neighbors seem to have a heightened interest in the cars parked in the street. I was surprised that the exhaust noise was much lower than when Ed visits along. You guys were great in keeping it neighbor friendly. :thumbsupsIt poured off and on most of the day here just outside of Sacramento, even thunder! Fortunately GT never got dirty! I think Frank could be blamed for the strange weather! At least I think we are back to normal the rest of the week.
