This is just out of Big Bear and up the hill to Arrowhead, we had some open road and had a blast. It's in 1080P on the GoPro so you can go Full Screen. Thanks Sam for Organizing!!!

Luke, that GT40 is owned by William Scott whom you met when we road through Colorado a few years back.

Ah yes. I think he had suffered a mechanical that day and was stuck in Loveland getting it fixed if I remember right. I want to see more pics and video of THAT car!

You are right, he was getting repairs done. PM me and I'll get you some numbers so you two can talk. The car is very nasty, Lance says it the fastest GT40 he has ever driven. Even has the real deal old school Webbers that snort and blubber just before they bark and push the car into warp speed.

That thing was snorting all day, right in front of me, next to me, and behind me!!! I knew when he was in front of me, I love the smell of Nepalm in the morning, smells like Victory!!!!!

LOL mherman! If you ever wanted to know what it was like to race one of these in the 60's have William take you for a ride. From the inside even the fuel pump upon start up is deafening, the smell of un-burnt fuel, claustrophobic, sound of the exhaust, vibrations, harsh ride, Spartan interior, the feeling of you're not going to survive a collision etc. I LOVE IT! Nothing in common with the Ford GT but the shape.

Here is the GT40 trailing me as we came around Scott and Pam in their Black GT, I'm digging that new Accufab exhaust....

The only thing equal to a track day with a bunch of Ford GT'ers is hanging out and partying that same night after the track day with a bunch of Ford GT'ers!
