Now here how I could solve the my problems of space here in the UK... It is absolutely fantastic. :cheers

There is a garage like this here in Newport beach California. The Elevator takes you down to the real museum.

Is that this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpch7qt6NFI :thumbsup

That is a big ol' bowl of awesomesauce.

That is nuts, I love it!

Very very expensive. A single car version is over 80,000 US.

A friend of mine just had one of these installed in his Scottsdale, AZ home he built [within a few miles of Chip Beck's house]. Apparently, when they sold it to him, they said it was the first in AZ?

If anyone in the area is interested in a trip to take a look - he's a cool guy and would have no issue showing it off. Unfortunately, he does not have a sweet, exotic collection below - "yet".

Take a peek at the manufacturers website:
http://www.aclifts.com/parking/pss-7/

And I'm almost positive it was NOT $80k. Last I heard he paid about $40k for it.

Give the guy who built that L-car in is basement a std 4 poster car hoist and a few days and I'll bet he'd build something very similiar for a whole lot less than $40K.

In fact, if I may be so bold, I'd even go so far as to say I pbly could as well.

I know darn well Shadowman could!:biggrin :thumbsup :cheers

It wouldn't ... 'cause it wouldn't be a government project...with cost overrun guarantees! :lol

And did you notice it was only necessary to go down TEN "comments" before you came to:

"You are crazy. so many people in the world that can no eat and some stupid people spend a lot of money in a house.
fran. madrid. spain"

Still, I gotta admit THAT WAS 5 POSTS MORE THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE to see a "class envy" comment like that! :lol

That said, I think the man's nuts too...but ONLY because of the money he has to pay to the gov't in RENT (prop taxes) per year, and all the $$$ for ins and upkeep ('may as well BBQ a steamer trunk full of $100 dollar bills every month). Even if I had Warren Buffet's money I wouldn't want a place worth that much for those reasons alone. But, that's ME (& we all KNOW I'm cheap!). He obviously doesn't give a hoot - AND MORE POWER TO HIM! :thumbsup

I'm pretty sure $40k included install as well.

I bought a sweet SUPER LIFT from Barrett Jackson for about $6k with all accessories. But it is not what that lift is.

Only 40K, in my area it would be 15K+ in engineer studies, reports and permit fillings, before I even got to start a job like that. After 1 to 2 years I may get approved and building cost would be north of 100K. After that I would have the pleasure of having my taxes go up to help the people that need it more. I guess building one of these can be considered patriotic.

:tap: Ah-h'mmmmm...The literary style exemplified by the author of the masterful composition to which you refer, 'Holmes', is - to slightly 'rephrase' a reply made famous by the illustrious B. Obama - way below even the paygrade of your's truely, your very humble scribe. :tap:

Or, to answer your question directly.........................'NOPE'.:tongue

that was sensational......

reminded me of the Dark Knight :cool

but the real batman drives a Black Mark II Ford GT :usa

You have to put it into contest. Here in the UK space is at a premium. It is hard to find a house with a double garage.

It is probably comparable to building a heated swimming pool. I'd take the garage and go to the club when I want to swim....
