Gentlemen,

I received an e-mail from Tomy Hamon this morning containing a link to a short video clip that I had seen before. It was remarkable the first time I viewed it and equally impressive when I watched it again this morning. I assure you it's well worth the couple minutes it will take you to view it. A well-known former United States Marine speaking at last years NRA convention about his modern-day comrades. "We're Americans, this is what we do".

Thanks Chip for putting it on the Forum. I know our members will appreciate the message this close to Memorial Day. Tomy Hamon PS It gave me a very warm feeling and a tear in my eye. Thanks Buddy.

And to think there are some who'd rather make it a point to APOLOGIZE for America/Americans and who'd never breathe a word about events like this one.

Thanks, Tomy. :usa

Now I want go shoot somebody so I can save them.

Love it! Thanks for posting.

:usa Thanks Chip - passed it on to many of my friends! :usa

Thanks for the post Tony and Chip, as stated above everyone should watch this video

Its interesting how people's choice in cars reflect their political leanings.

Ferrarichat tends to be about 75% Rep

While the Corvetteforum seems to be even more Rep, like 90%

I was on Priuschat for a little while just bcus I heard there were lots of Lefties and Jeez were they right. Thats like 95% Looney Left

I imagine this forum ranks up there with CF

I was in Manhattan on 9/11 and it was a Huge wake up call and gave me a new found appreciation for things American, part of the reason I want to get a GT soon :usa

Hubbster -

While I believe you to be correct regarding the political leanings of the average Ford GT owner, we also have one other axiom. We do not discuss politics on this forum, as it tends to lead to unwanted vacations and up to outright banning from the owner and moderators....

However, I believe that all of us are very patriotic - :usa

i beg to differ on corvette owners. i would say that is split half and half between Republicans and Democrats.

Great post Chip! We all need to be reminded of the selfless sacrifice they offer each and every day of the year!

It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the
VETERAN who
salutes the Flag,

It is
the
VETERAN
who serves
under the Flag,

ETERNAL
REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON
THEM.

We can be very
proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where they serve.

God
Bless them all!!!

Very nice ........thankyou

Brought a tear to my eye as well.
We should always be thankful for our military professionals who serve so well. Thanks Chip for posting!
