sold with a " Salvage Certificate" not with a "Salvage Title"

to have a shop secure all the parts and put it back together would cast as much as buying a salvaged title car now, about 200K and thats if you can get it for the near 10K they are asking for but it seems like he wants 30K for it.

These terms vary in definition by state. In some states they are synonymous. Regardless, you need to be savvy on your own state's titling requirements if you hope to eventually get clean title on any kind of total loss (umbrella term for all types of salvage) car.
