oooooooooooooow! You wouldn't happen to have a
"side on" view of those wheels would ya, SYCHO?

I like the paint.

Or primer, whatever it is.

I saw this car in person while it was being preped at Ford Auto Body. The wheels just don't go with the paint finish. I think the only thing that would look worse would be wire wheels and hydrolics.:ack:rolleyes:shrug

I think the wheels would look better with brushed alum then cleared, but to each his own.

I luv the paint.

The paint finish in person left a lot to be desired. Matte finish done properly is a hot look though.

Blast from the past.

Centerpunch,

Haven't heard from you in a while. Greetings. Time for another GT?

Maybe is was a plastic skin.

Nice pic Syco.

The paint looks good....wheels not my style.

Wheels look a bit, er, 'busy'.

I think the whole point of matte black is not to be perfect, its kinda like old school primered car, no show, all go, all business, I would never do that to mine but I like the fact someone took the plunge. At least is not a taxi paint job:lol

I saw this at the Auto Show last week. I spoke to the guy who made the decision to paint it. He says it was a Heritage Edition that he tried to sell for $180,000 with no luck. He claims that now there is lots of interest at $280,000! I'm having a hard time believing both of those statements.

Be interesting to have the vin number of that car. Each to his own. Understand that FGT was part of the Galpin display.

I have seen several F cars that have been done in flat black, including an Enzo in Monaco that look great.

Didn't one of the Bullrun guys have his car flat black? He also had a lot of stickers or decals on it.

:bs Are you sure he didn't reverse the order? H's are going for well over $200k+ while all Blk's are just under..... Red's - well..... :screwy:

He must have been smoking the good stuff

Silversurfer's car. I think it was flat grey, not flat black. There's pics up here on the forum somewhere. Mighta even been me that posted them? At least a linky anyway :cheers

First four photos.....car was wrapped: http://picasaweb.google.com/mgrigs/Gumball?authkey=O3t_TOxXZzg#5232670658174595042

The black wheels look quite a bit better.

So the BullRun passenger was from Al Qeada?:lol

I heard the Bull Run car was vinyl wrapped in the Matte Black. In any event, it looks much better than what I saw.

I think we are gonna see a forum members car pop up soon in Flatblack....:secret:

As for this flat black car that they say USED to be heritage, if it was at the Galpin Display, I would bet it was that 05 that Galpin painted Heritage right before the ACTUAL heritage paint scheme was released. I just cant see someone taking an original Heritage car and painting it flat black.....
