Top ten Mustang engines.

Volume wise, Ford predominantly made one performance car..The Mustang...

Fun reading Sam, thanks for the post!

I think the brand new Coyote motor will go down in history as one of the best as well.

Just pointing out the mis-title, the article is about Mustang motors. If it were the "Top ten Ford motors" it would I hope, include the Flathead V-8. In their day the Ford "V-8" powered cars were performance cars similar to the Mustang (cheap and quick). Take a trip to Speedweek and you'll see some fast flatheads still.

Should be
427 MR
Escort engine was most effecient 4 cylinder of its time.
427 SOHC was 30 years ahead of its time
Boss 9 but wrong place at the wrong time needed lots of cam shaft and devolopement and TF might be running it today.
Boss 351C
Boss 302

My all time favorite is a 289 HiPo balanced and screaming RPM's

Agreed - the Ford Flathead V8, and the 4 Cam Indy V8 were very famous engines, along with all the Cosworth-Fords that raced at Indy and Formula 1.
