The Forum Wars...Mullet GT vs. Supra this weekend

The Forum Wars people contacted me and it looks like rtsphere (buddy from Dallas that owns a tuner shop and a 1000whp Supra) and I are going head to head this weekend. They will film everything this weekend and the episodes will be on the net and on SpeedTV.

They are filming the episodes at the Baytown track this weekend. They are going to have us do 1/4, autocross and either a 0-100-0 or a slalom. They usually only have stock or near stock horsepower cars but when I contacted them they were interested in having a pair of high horsepower cars. they are giving us our own category/episode.

I have to say I'll have my hands full on the 1/4 but the stuff with turns I got covered. Supra's can't turn.

I can't do any filming myself and no photos but I'm sure I can squeeze off a few and will post up here.

they were very specific in saying only one guest per driver. If it was public I'm sure I'd have quite a cheering section. ;)

My usual Pilot Cup fronts and R6 rears. We can only use one set offices and both cars have to have similar types of tires.

Why don't run R6 at the front also? The problem w/ the Pilot Cups at the front is that the front won't get to heat up in their slalom and autox courses fast enough for you to get any grip.
I attended last year's event at the Irwindale Speedway here in Socal and they allowed anyone in and people were able to take pictures and videos also.
