Thursday night around 9:15 My buddy Ricie and I drove straight to Akron Ohio in the Lincoln Lt........the greatest pickup ever made........We arived in Akron around 5:15 am with 2 gas stops and 45 minutes of shut eye......yes making great time........The temps dropped from 55 in New York to minus 10 in Akron........

On to the good stuff......My buddy has been caretaker of a special car for about 5 years when the owner passed away..........he needs money, the widow needs money......so its gtjoey and Howie to the rescue........This car in its final body a 1938 INDY 500/ ALL TRACK full size racer.........
All ford , Model A tranny and rear, Model B motor, thomas aluminium finned head and all the goodies to go with it including a 10 year complete restoration...
This was one of Red Bailes racers and completely restored from POPS DWYERS SON................Its a real special piece...
This car was special guest at the Ford 100 year anniversary.........
Howie and I are now the caretakers, hopefully for a long time to come.......It will be displayed at special events around the country and ending up as the first NON GT in the Museum........
We are looking at a model T racer, but for now this is the oldest and first ........Im happy, Howies happy , anyone want to join this ride...just email.........the long strange trip is getting better everyday that goes by.......
Every day is a holiday my friends.........enjoy it .......GTJOEY1314
P.s. If there is anyone out there with a real special car, Ford of course, pm we are interested......We have enough GT's with over 25 signed on board, this is for the initial display before you enter the WHOLLY SHINE OF GT'S..........:biggrin

Thanks for the pic's. I have not seen a Thomas head. The last one I did had a Lion 8 plug head with dual 81 carbs. It was also a diamond block.
