The Concept of Leasing verses Purchasing

Someone mentioned the concept of leasing and purchasing on one of the threads recently. That brought back to mind a few images that circulated after the Elliot Spitzer Affair a few years ago regarding purchasing and leasing. Hence the urge to re-visit these two basic business concepts.

Not that I totally disagree but as I recall there were substantial legal fees and other consequences. I believe one would need to add in a dose of discretion
