Got me some new tires, fixed an oil cooler leak that curiously started around 10k, got me a new A/C control unit because the old one had a knob that just spun around and around and around. Car is all freshened up for the summer.

Good to have Rich and Dennis in my backyard. They are only a plane ticket away. :wink :cheers
 
just as long as it is a plane ticket, the other kind get real expensive.

I agree, Rich and Dennis are the best! I wish they were closer - I have to keep chasing them in Texas when they are there! :lol

My A/C knob is doing the same thing:frown did they replace it or can it be fixed?
 
Replaced. Is it your blower motor knob? That's what it was on mine. Since all the knobs are on that one circuit board they just replaced the whole thing. Get it done under warranty!
 
I had a long telephone conversation with Rich yesterday. I agree, Rich and Dennis are the absolute best. You can't say enough good things about them. We are so lucky to have these two available to work on and provide information for our GT's!
 
They are awesome. I wish they relocated to Dallas.
 
I want them to relocate to Fresno!

The SF Bay Area has better weather. Fresno is too hot in the summer and colder in the winter. Also better restaurants in this area. But the best reason is more GT to service here! However using the number of GT to service, I would guess So. Cal or FL to be the best place to locate the business.

There is not doubt that Rich and Dennis bring GREAT things to this team; it always makes me smile when a great experience is shared.

Now as for the A/C knob; if under warranty then by all means present the claim however if not the center console simply needs tp be removed and then the A/C control unit opened up and the rotating stop re-secured; I have repaired several of them; the process is easy.

No, they just took off the console and I'm taking the part to a dealer friend for a new one which I will give to Rich.

The rotating stop on mine could not be re-secured. It required a new part.

yes Dave it is the blower knob, Ive been lazy, I need to take the center console out and check to see if it can be repaired, I wonder if I take the part out they will give me another under warrenty?
 
In a pinch, you all might check with Vintage Air - good guys and they did the system on the GT. They might be able to provide support for out of warranty cars at a more reasonable cost.

I would be interested in a gt guys visit. Any others out there?
 
They will travel! Put a group together that will produce 3-4 days of solid work for them and I'm sure it will justify the trip.
They are the very best!
