Texas Mile...BEWARE..BE Alert

I once hit a groundhog on a Ducati Superbike during a race in 1998 at over 100 MPH. It just went "thump" and I kept going. My seat had a new crease in it, but I found that groundhogs are "soft". Had I tried to miss it, I would have crashed big-time.

Seems this photo has already made the rounds on the net, and is being PS'd poorly already.

How to hit a groundhog

Tim - you should have wheelied as you came up to the groundhog. It may have prevented that seat crease of yours!

Hey Tim,
We were roadracing in an endurance race in Monterrey Mexico when goats wondered on the track. Luckily no one hit one and they stopped the race long enough to chase them away !!
