Interesting news on the net Monday. Seems SVT has been working on something covertly. A Baja inspired off-road truck. Details are scarce, but claims are huge suspension travel, big tires, a lowered and widened, and powered by the new V8s. This was first reported by the folks at PickupTruck.com and Four Wheeler.

This is a very intriguing prospect!

I did see this Raptor at Fourfathers website but it don't look like any F-150 I have ever seen B/4:rofl

People in both GM, and Ford have prosecuted, jailed, and/ or fired a few sources of leaks. ... up to this point, to some degree ;)

yea i may have used the wrong words. i meant no rumors or guesses about what the truck will be able accomplish performance wise. the raptor site has been a ghost town. though i believe there has been 20+ member signing up this past week.


lack of chatter? the three reasons i came up with
first of its kind, how do you measure off road racing performance? there are no expectations.
gas prices truck sales in general, and now further economy woes.
the after market is scared. they know ford svt is first rate and will destroy anything they(aftermarket) have tried before for a lot less money. they for sure dont want any media attentions on the raptor.


will it still be called the f150 svt raptor?
