I am going to bump the power on my GT up to high to use this clutch anymore. It’s in good condition now and never gave me any problems. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to put new plates in it while it’s out but not necessary IMHO. This is the stage 2 clutch.

I will sell it "as is" for $1,500. I’ll get a price from Stillen on new plates and post that shortly if anyone is interested.

EDIT: This is a stage 1 clutch - asking $1k

I look forward to reading how you like the clutch.

I’ve heard different things. Some say it is smooth, others say it is off/on. I’m a little nervous.

Same here.

Will there be special mods required to accomodate this package?

Using the ATI balancer to add a little rotating mass. The carbon clutch is 30lbs lighter. The GT uses a pretty common spline configuration. Should be a plug and play mod... Maybe some tuning for engine deceleration.

I drove a friend's Carrera GT and I found the carbon clutch very hard to get use to. I am sure with more time one could adjust to it, but definitely much harder to drive that with normal type clutches.

I'm not sure what the differences are. I know they have different tq rating. I was wrong about his being stage two. It is actually a stage 1 so I'll let it go for $1000. I thought the stage one was 620 and the stage two was 700 but I can find it on their website.
