Have a tiny stone chip in my silver stripe. Anyone have the paint code?

tom,
for our 2005/ 2006 Ford GT's, typically the dealer can order the small touch up tube with the paint code from the door jamb.
I did that for several chips on Midnight Blue.
call Ian.

Huh? How? Did a prior owner add stripes??

Stripes were painted at SSV...

Unless you are referring to the side lower stripes?

I just found out much to my surprise that the top stripes are vinyl.

Ford Tech line was mistaken. I was sure they were painted so our Dealer (Pat Milliken) ordered the Satin Silver TL 7049A

Consider a ceramic coat +/i PPF on yours after the touch-up. I drive all my cars regularly and think its worth its weight in gold. It protects the paint from chips, makes it hydrophopic and gives it a freshly waxed/shiny appearance.

I saw recently that the ceramic coats do not protect from rock chips and sand blasting as well as the wax polishes because ceramics are thinner. They said if you are going to use ceramic coatings to use wraps to protect from rocks. I assume a wrap protects better than wax alone, but wax alone is better than ceramics alone.

Good way to put it.
Ceramic wont protect from chips. The PPF is essential. Ceramic over PPF is worth it. I've got both on my cars and they look showroom new.

Both the ceramic polish and wax are so thin that neither provides appreciable protection from rock chips. Gotta put something thick on, like PPF.
