Watching your autopsy of the engine with interest. And you have rightly prefaced the disassembly saying this most likely will never occur to most GT owners. In the interest of explaining why/how you can make this statement to the general ownership, can you please give us some of the details as to HOW the engine was modified (higher SC pressures, higher timing, different "tune" than Ford OEM, NO2, alcohol intercooler spray, etc)? This would lend credibility (and most probably comfort to most owners who have not moded to this level) to the engine problem being a "customer induced" root cause and not a fault of the basic OEM design.
