Sema Oct 31st Lunch at The Beach IS CANCELLED

I guess some things just are not meant to be. Bony let me know yesterday that The Beach closed their doors. I also just confirmed that I need to be in Las Vegas the entire week following SEMA for a series of meetings that I am hosting, and must cancel my trip to Vegas the week prior. (Two weeks of Vegas is more than I can handle!!!) I am sorry that I can't make it to see everyone this year. I'll be back next year. I have kept the "sign up" list posted below, perhaps one of you may find an alternative location. Bony suggest Pierros (sp?), However, I did call them last year, and they were not serving lunch a year ago. Again, sorry that this event is being dissolved. I was hoping to make it a string of several annual "events". (Perhaps I could host the Second Annual luncheon the third year!

Where's The Beach? Is it close to the convention center? This may be the only time my son gets to go to SEMA and I'm sure he'll want to see as much as possible. I may not be able to pry him away for lunch!

Update

Just as another detail point on the lucheon. The Beach is a large bar/restaurant. They serve a buffet lunch upstairs. We will meet at the bar area upstairs at 1:00 PM and will find our tables (usually there are plenty for lots of us.) Cost is no more than about $13 to $15 per person. I look forward to seeing everyone!:cheers

The Hilton is a good idea, or any other hotel/casino that stops along the monorail route. (Just an idea)

The Marriott is only another 100 yards up from where The Beach was. They have a nice bar and seating area. Also great parking.
