Do you mean the vents as seen from on top or the vents that are at a 90 degree angle to the vents as mentioned? Or do you mean one of the mesh screens at the rear of the gal?

I would like to help but need a little help to do so

Alright now I think I know to which you speak.

Those metal screens are secured to the insert trim that runs along side of the window "PRIOR" to the trim being installed. You will have to remove the trim which is secured in place with 6 phillip screws on the underside; you will likely have to remove the small air inlet screen on the underside for access to the last screw. Once out you can resecure the screen to the trim. Rich aka The GT Guys said that he recalls it (the screen) being secured with plastic stems mounted to the trim and then melted so as to bond them together.

Regardless once the trim is out (easy enough and no risk) then secure the screen should be very straight forward.

Not the the ones on each side of rear windows.

The small oval ones built in air ducts, the coves in clam shell. Thanks.

WOW this was a long and windy road

I think that you remove the air inlet screen on the INSIDE of the clamshell to garner access for that screen on the inside. The screens that you need to remove for access are secured with 5 Torx

Let me know if you need further assistance
