For the Mile it states we need a 5 or 6 point system for the big power cars. The Safecraft I just got and installed has a belt that attaches on the sides and looks to attach between my legs.

My question is WHAT does it attach to between my legs? there is a clip that looks like it can attach to the spot where all the other belts attach on my chest but it's between my legs off the front of the seat. Pic below of what I am talking about.

The clip goes into the release buckle

The leg straps are simply to keep you from sliding out of the harness

under my butt and over my man bits and into the buckle?

I get it

JB, yes, you actually sit on it. It goes under each thigh, comes up in between your legs over your crotch, and hooks into the bottom of the harness buckle. If you're in Dallas, I'll help you adjust everything. Frank

thanks for the confirmation.

Anyone else use this exact brand (Safecraft) have a slightly tough time getting the shoulder belt buckles through the seat? I had to remove the lower part with the clips to get them through to store them.

I have Safecraft. If you push the buckle through at an angle with the webbing it goes through the seat slot quite easily. The first time through it does seem awkward, but you do not have to remove anything this way.

Also my recommendation is to put some painter tape in the side of the center tunnel, because the buckles are heavy and unless you are very careful I can see scratching the surface.

Agree with TriHeart. Just put the adjuster through at a 90 degree angle. It is a little tight, but no other messing with it. Same thing to put it away.

I have used 3m paint protection film on the center consol and the door tread alloy trims to protect from scratching from the harnesses, It really is a must, you will do damage otherwise!

I am attending the rally, your welcome to take a look at my car.
I also have a 120' foot roll of it in my truck if you want some.

Another good idea.

I just use blue tape.

I ran overlapping blue tape also.
