I was just told from Manhattan Ford ( Mustang Mike) that there is a registered black FGT in Manhattan. Apparently it was purchased in CT., and the car resides in NYC. The person had stopped at Manhattan Ford to talk about getting some upgrades, but never came back. Also, the Rental Club in Manhattan (which had a red one) did purchase a blue one a while ago, that would be a real possibility. Because of the time of day, could this car have been a blue one? A rental, from someone not used to these cars seems more like the possibility of this accident.

What CT ford dealer did that GT come from? i had money down on a black
car there but it did not work out.I got my black one next to home in ma.
It was no stripe car.

My last trip with my Ford GT in NYC and the Jersey Turnpike was in the trailer of behind my F350. By the way, I was stopped for speeding by one of the Jersey Stormtroopers for doing 88 MPH in my truck. (Gee, those GT's are fast, aren't they?)

I talked to one CT dealer, who turned out to be an "exotic car dealer" too.

He bragged up and down that he sells Lambos all day and he doesn't really need to sell the GT....sorta like a favor to me

Then he tells me I drop off $165K, then he will get me the car a week later. And went on to say this is how its done at all dealers.

I basically hung up on him, flew up to to Saco, Maine, Claire Ford and got a spotless 3 mile car. Dealer princiapl took me out for Lobster brunch too.

The black GT I referred to in my previous post had def. stripes(according to Mustang Mike) he did see the car when it came to the dealership, he did not know the CT dealer it came from, as that info came from the owner when he showed with the GT. Also, the blue rental in NYC is well and alive.....

I live in Staten Island NY, 400,000 people on the island. I know of 4 other FGT's that live here. I have informed all of them of the GT FORUM and I doubt any one of them is on here. So, trying to find that owner is going to be difficult.

Davis did you notice NYS plates?

when I was building my garage I tried to get a space in there.....they were all booked up.....so I found a place Jersey......that place looks nice...though. I keep it at home now.......got some nice radiant heat in there now so my baby's nice and warm......as long as she's still in there!
 
No front tag on the GT and I could not see the rear of the car. PD

I was just told that the Red FGT which was owned by the NYC rental club was shipped to the UK. Apparently over the last week, a renter totalled it somewhere in England. The car is making it's way back here for possible sale.

For anyone's info the last 4 of the vin # is 1202. Originally sold by Manhattan Ford, as I remember seeing that car on the showroom floor, it had reg. wheels, red/white stripe, possible mac.
