14000 smells like eggs and that one has the check ligfht is on.Any answers?

Your battery is boiling over most likely. Take out the liner in the "trunk" up front. The battery lives up there. Have you charged the battery rapidly? It's an optima battery and needs to be trickle charged slowly.

Gforce,

Can be the battery most likely, if you find that it's not...look at the catalytic converter.. when they go bad they smell like eggs 2...( under warranty i'm sure on both)

good luck...

I would need to know the code that triggered the check engine light however based on the smell and the check engine light being present I would speculate that a cat has gone south.

All the best

The "rotten egg" smell is most common from a cat problem. You need to check your DTC.

High sulphur gas will give you an egg smell.

Yep, Hydrogen Sulfide gas, you can make some with strong acid like HCL and Ferric Sulfide. Of course you only do this for scientific study in a controlled laboratory, since this a poisonous gas!

Just A thoght?

Where i do have the whipple and its tuned for 93 and lucas booster.
I know those cat cons are sensitive would that help it to go at 14000
miles.I keep both gts on trickle charge all the time this time of year.
I had my local ford do a oil change one time, never agian, they did not have a clue on what they were doing, and they are 60 miles away.

Do you have acsess to even just a basic code scanner?

Is there an Autozone, Advance, Murrays or O'Rilley anywhere near by?. They all will loan you a code scanner with a deposit, don't even have to buy it. Any auto parts store will have these, a basic one is about $40 and good enough to tell us what we need to know.

coils

Had a buddy who is top noch scan the codes,Its showing that two coils
are messing up makeing it fire wrong some times raw fuel makeing the cc
stink.Any one had this happen.
