Anyone have any comments on which product is better? There's a lifetime warranty on the roadgard, it's thicker and they claim its has a better finish.

I have friends that work in the technical side of this business and the 3M is not as good as the competitive films. It is surprising since 3M products are usually very high quality, however not this time. Jay

esica I used venture shield. Amazing!!!! thick and clear no orange peel. People can not tell it's even there!!

Thanks for responding guys.....It's going over a black/no stripe car. I heard the 3M tends to look "milky" over dark colors.

I'll check out Venture. I'm in SoCal so if anyone knows of any good installers in the area please let me know.

Thanks,
Chris

Neither. Check out my Speed Lingerie f/e and mirror covers .....

I may have missed it but who did your install?

I am about to have ClearBra put on my car.

Thanks.

I used Armor Shield in Irwindale, CA and am very pleased with the finished result. There is, however, some orange peel on the plastic center nose section, but not at all on the aluminum panels.

Venture Shield in Phoenix

Talked to Lexshield in Phoenix. There are 4 kits and they are saying $950 for all installed. Estimate install at 5 hours. They make a good point that they do this all day long. Just an FYI unless you know something bad about these guys.

If you guys have any specific questions regarding Paint Protection Film, or finding a reputable installer in your area, I'd be happy to try to assist you. I haven't heard anything, good or bad, about the shop you mentioned, however I currently have 13 pre-cut kits available for the Ford GT.

I also have Venture Shield on our GT and it is virtually invisible. But it won't last forever. I am considering spraying on the new ArmorCoat shield paint as a replacement. I posted a thread about this yesterday. Would like to hear some feedback on it for anyone who has tried it - all I know so far is the Dream Car Garage boys like it.
