Yep!

Great photos! I remember that car. Steel balls to drive it at speed I'm sure!

Whoa, and they will retrofit 2012s with 2013 features. I like the software selectable cabin drone feature.

It is hard to complain about free horsepower.

Inexplicably, they are dropping the touch-sensitive door openers and fitting buttons instead. That's one of the coolest features, so I guess it makes my '12 a collector's item!
Can't wait for those free 25hp in September!

Test drove one but quit disappointed on the low rpm torque.

Yup, typical turbo motor - not much happening til around 2700 rpm, but then it's "Holy S**t Batman!" all the way to the redline. GTs spoil you in that regards, instantaneous respone from idle upwards.

We are spoiled with our GT's. In standard configuration( stock charger) not a great thing but with the big whipple njamie. Nomatter what I test or drive still nothing that even comes close to the GT. Got the same with the V12V beautiful car but lacks power in low rpm. When talking to a German tuner wheels&more they say they got some nice mods for the Mclaren. Not really a lot (only 66hp and 68nm torque) but much more available in the low Rpms. That could make the Mclaren much more enjoyable.

Test drove the McLaren. It is a wonderfully smooth technological marvel but it just doesn't stir the soul.

It's a car that needs a lot of driving miles under your belt to appreciate it - so phenomenally capable but totally understated. To paraphrase the old political party adage " When you're younger, if you don't drive a Ferrari you have no heart; when you're older if you don't drive a McLaren you have no head"?

Has anyone seen a dyno sheet on the Mclaren?
